Guidelines & Fees
Beverages: Full bar available. Bartender service included with hosted bar.
Event/Reception Capacity: The Main Dining Room holds 100–125 seated guests or 200 standing; the adjacent Porch seats 24; the Patio holds 40 seated or 90 standing. The Mission’s Gardens can accommodate 150–600 seated guests during warmer months. Tented events can be arranged.
Meeting Capacity: The Main Dining Room accommodates 80 seated theater-style; the Private Dining Rooms seats up to 12 guests each.
Cancellations: An event may be cancelled prior to 10 working days without incurring additional charges. If an event is cancelled within 10 working days, 50% of food and beverage estimate will be retained. The facility fee is non-refundable but may be applied to a rescheduled date.
Ceremonies: Wedding ceremonies may be held at Mission Santa Clara. To schedule your wedding at Mission Santa Clara, the Bride and/or Groom must be a current student, faculty, staff, or graduate. Please contact the Mission Office for further information at 408-554-4023.
Deposit: For rental of the Adobe, a non-refundable $500 facility fee is required to secure the reserved date and is applied to final cost of bill. For room reservations or smaller events … (deposit info)
Furniture: All outside rental equipment needs will be coordinated and acquired through the Adobe Lodge. Please ask your Event Coordinator about all options.
Music: Amplified music is permitted indoors and with limits outdoors
Overtime: Requested time over the standard rental period is available at $300 per hour if purchased at least 48 hours prior to event. Otherwise, overtime charges are $450 per hour.
Parking: Self-parking available on campus with additional street-side parking as needed. Please talk to your Event Coordinator for any special considerations.
Rental Fees (current for 2019): For wedding receptions, a nonrefundable $2,500 rental fee, which includes use of the facility for 5 hours, is required at the time of booking. For other special events and business functions, the rental fee ranges $500-750 depending on room(s) selected. Fees are based on a 3-hour rental period; additional time can be arranged (see overtime notes).
